Hello Denice,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the national organizations that interest you. I think it's great that you would love to teach at a small college. That would be awesome sharing what you love and know with children who have a similar passion. Is teaching in a college something you want to start now or in a few years?
Thanks Dorcas
Denice, I enjoyed reading your blog post this week. I thought your national organization chooses were great. Also, they were interesting to read about. I too researched the National Head Start Association. I think it would be a great opportunity to work for an organization like this. I also notice that one of your goals is to work at a small college. I think thats a great ambition to have. How did you decide on wanting to become a professor?
ReplyDeleteDenice,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading about the organizations you researched. I think it's so interesting for us to research the idea of working at the headquarters (or other location) of one of the national associations which we are already influenced by. The exercise allows us to think beyond our current position and seek to influence social change on a greater level. I especially enjoyed reading your take on the National Head Start Association. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and good luck with your dream of becoming a community college professor!
Lydia
Dear Denice,
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of the NHSA. This was the first organization I joined when I started working with Head Start children. I love the resources and information. I still remain a member as of today. Good choice.
